Pocket |
A player's down cards. |
Pocket Pair |
A pair in the player's down cards. |
Position |
A player's location and betting order in relation to the other player's. |
Post |
To make a blind bet. |
Pot |
The money or chips that are the prize for winning a hand. |
Pot Limit |
Betting structure where the maximum bet equals the size of the pot. |
Pot Odds |
The amount of money in the pot versus the amount of money required to call the current bet. |
Prop |
A player hired by a poker room to play poker and start games. |
Push |
Going all in. |
Put Down |
