| Table Stakes |
A rule which states that a player can only bet with the money he has at the table. |
| Tell |
Outward signs that gives away hints about what a player is holding. |
| Texas Hold'em |
A variation of poker where each player is dealt two cards and five community cards are dealt. |
| Third Street |
The first round of betting in Seven Card Stud and its' variations after three cards have been dealt. |
| Three of a Kind |
Three cards of the same rank. |
| Tie |
Two or more hands of equal value. |
| Tight |
A player who plays very few hands. |
| Tight Game |
A game with very few players in each hand. |
| Tilt |
When a player is upset, usually due to a bad beat, and plays recklessly. |
| Time |
A request by a player to have extra time to think over a decision. |
| Top Pair |
In flop games, where a player's hand pairs with the highest board card. |
| Top Two Pair |
Two pair, where two cards from a player's hand match the top two community cards. |
| Trips |
Three of a kind. |
| Turn |
In flop games, the fourth community card dealt. |
| Two Pair |
A hand with two pairs of different rank. |
