Bodog Poker is definitely a different poker room and has a unique approach to online poker. Following numerous Bodog rebrands, the addition of a music label, an MMA program, and now it this edgy online poker room has licensees serving Bodog poker worldwide.
Player Traffic 8.8/10
Bodog's traffic has been regularly increasing thanks to the many online poker rooms no longer accepting US players. There are only a few online poker rooms that still accept US players and they have been gradually taking over a US market that is hungry for poker. The majority of player traffic is concentrated at the Hold'em tables and off peak you will be hard pressed to find anything but Hold'em to play.
Quality of Players 8.5/10
While Bodog's traffic levels are impressive, that does not necessarily mean they have a lot of good players. The lower stakes tables are the most popular and the play there is very loose. This means that an experienced gambler can find profitable tables with good table selection. Tournaments and Sit’n’Gos fare no better, but players should play for the long run here. But do be careful as you never know when you're going to run into another shark in this site full of fish.

The software Bodog uses is by far one of the best in the online gambling business. The overall look is clean and slick, and it has a number of customization options. Their futuristic feel lends to the high stakes atmosphere, and the software is stable enough to allow for easy multi-tabling and a nifty picture in picture tool that makes switching between games even easier. Bodog's also upgraded their search filters to give players the ability to quickly and easily locate their favorite tables. With so many generic and clunky poker rooms on the market right now, Bodog's futuristic and functional appeal will not go unnoticed.
Bonuses and Promotions 9/10
Bodog Poker doesn't have the massive bonuses that some other sites offer. They do have a number of promotions ongoing, including a great sign up bonus that does not require a bonus code. To take full advantage of the sign up bonus, players have 30 days to earn 10 points per $1 credited. This frees up their bonus immediately for play and regular players can clear this quite quickly. There are also new player freerolls and exclusive tournaments that can only be entered with points. There are even special bad beat bonuses, and royal flush bonuses, and a referral bonus.
Customer Support 8/10
Bodog's high level of customer support and security is the product of a long running sportsbook. They have had a good reputation since 1994, so while they may not be going above and beyond, they do take security seriously with good encryption on their software and their high standard of customer service has not gone unnoticed in the gaming industry either.
