Lock Poker History
Lock Poker was launched in 2007, but the online poker room didn't become popular until after Black Friday. In fact, Lock Poker was so popular in the US market that they stopped accepting new US players from June 3rd 2011 - October 13th 2011. However, US players are once again welcome to join Lock Poker. Lock Poker is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Quebec, Canada. In June 2012, Lock Poker made the bold decision to walk away from the Merge network. They purchased the Cake Poker network and have since found even more success after renaming the network to Revolution Gaming and operating under their own power.

Lock Poker still has a lot of players that moved over from the top US poker sites that were shut down in the wake of black Friday.
